On My Way, New Friends and New Places to See

Hey y'all!

Well this is my first post from Florida! I've been here a little over a week, and already so much has happened! I've moved into a new apartment (with SEVEN roommates), gotten my work location, been to what feels like a million new clubs, and become an official Disney Cast Member! But don't worry- I'll update y'all on everything!

Gotta start way back at the beginning of this adventure though:



As you can see, it took quite some effort to get everything into my car! But after some very long nights (entertainment sponsored by Shark Week), mom and I finally packed up the car and headed to Florida!



After arrival in the Sunshine State, it was just a few short hours to the Happiest Place on Earth. Once we got there, we checked into Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, and headed to the Magic Kingdom!



[Fun Fact]: The castle isn't visable from a certain point on the monorail, the ferries, or the path leading into the Magic Kindgom. It is blocked by the Train Station, and then guests are led to the right or left of Main Street, through tunnels with posters of "upcoming attractions." Finally, the ground is red, symbolizing a red carpet leading up to the star of the show: the castle!

I think I was happier than any kid there- I think it hit me that I was actually here! We then went to the Crystal Palace for dinner with Pooh & the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood. We had a wonderful waitress named Linda, who had been working for Disney for 30 years. She welcomed me to the cast, with a card signed by the crew.



Mom and I finished the night by meeting Tigger,


watching the amazing Summer Nightastic Fireworks,


and the Main Street Electrical Parade.


The perfect first day :)
